3.1 Not Legal Advice
MyVisaDreams is an informational tool only. Nothing on this Service constitutes legal advice. The information provided should not be used as a substitute for professional legal counsel. Always consult a qualified immigration attorney for legal guidance specific to your situation.
3.2 Not Affiliated with USCIS
MyVisaDreams is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or any government agency. Case status information is retrieved via the USCIS-provided developer API and is subject to USCIS's own terms and data accuracy.
3.3 Processing Time Estimates
Processing time estimates are statistical projections based on historical data and community reports. They are not guarantees and actual processing times may vary significantly. Estimates should be used for informational purposes only.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading case information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data beyond normal use
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
- Impersonate another person or entity

6. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all personal data you provide to the Service. By submitting case data with the "public" option enabled, you grant MyVisaDreams a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that data in anonymized, aggregated form for community analytics and processing time estimates. You may revoke this license at any time by disabling the public setting on your cases or deleting your account.
7. Account Termination and Data Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:
- Your account and personal information will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- All your case data and status history will be removed
- Anonymized analytics data that was derived from your cases may be retained as it cannot be linked back to you
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyVisaDreams and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from:
- Inaccurate processing time estimates
- Incorrect or delayed case status information from the USCIS API
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Loss of data
- Decisions made based on information provided by the Service
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. Case status lookups depend on the USCIS API, which has its own availability schedule and may be subject to outages.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
